Get ready for Freddie’s ‘Bandana’ album!
Last night, Madlib was in Gotham for a special Red Bull Music Academy talk and shared some major news regarding Freddie Gibbs. In follow-up to his contributions on their 2014 Piñata album, the Los Angeles producer officially announced plans for a new collaborative effort entitled Bandana.
The project, which currently has no release date, is set to feature a slew of Kanye West auditioned beats for The Life of Pablo – but have now been repackaged for the next Gangsta Gibbs project. Freddie even took to social media soon after, to tease listeners that he’s in the studio going through beats right now – increasing expectations for the anticipated effort.
