We’ve been geting loose updates, teasers and previews for Freddie Gibbs and Madlib‘s sophomore album for a minute, but now they’ve revealed the news we’ve all been waiting for: Bandana is officially complete. Like, for real this time.
Gibbs took to his Instagram story to announce the news this week. “Album is done. Finished. Finito,” he said while drinking wine alongside Madlib. In another clip walking with the producer, he says, “Might put some shit out. Might. Thinking about it. We thinking about it.” Gibbs previously said that the album was done in July last year, but it looks like they recently got back in the lab.
