So far, the Free Nationals have been two-for-two on singles this year. The outstanding Daniel Caesar-featured record and this one are surely a sign of things to come and only a glimpse of the fire they have on deck with their upcoming album. Considering Mac Miller is no longer with us on earth, it’s only right the band would share an animated video for “Time” to pay tribute to him. In the clip, things are fast moving and psychedelic for a good portion, with Mac only appearing for a few seconds towards the end of his verse before turning into a pink dove and flying into the wind.
If you’re close to Blue Slide Park in Pittsburgh in September, fans will be celebrating the one-year anniversary of Miller’s death on the 7th, with music and videos to remember his life and contribution to the culture.
