No Cheese with the Mac
If you’re wondering where the fuck French Montana‘s MC4 is, there is an explanation. In a talk with Complex, the Coke Boy spoke on the hold up with the effort and dropped the bombshell news that it’s not even coming out after all. The album has been indefinitely shelved.
He puts most of the blame on sample clearances and the fact he lost the feeling.
“Songs like “I’m Heated” and “Two Times” couldn’t be cleared. By the time I got the mix how I recorded it, it wasn’t the same. I just ain’t have the same feeling for it. Everybody had to replay shit, and do all this extra shit, so I wasn’t in the mood to put it together. All the music going to come out, you know what I’m saying, just packaged differently. Plus, the album got leaked.”
The good news is that French has 70% of a new project already done and he plans to drop a mixtape this month to hold fans over until then. Don’t expect release dates, though. He’s going to drop by surprise whenever he deems fit.
In other news, as soon as Max B is released from prison, he wants to start a label with him. You can read about it all over at Complex.
