FREE STREAM: WRLD ON DRUGS
With Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper taking over this entire month with A Star is Born; another album comes just shy of overtaking them for the top slot on charts. This week, the official first week numbers for Future and Juice WRLD’s collaborative effort WRLD ON DRUGS have been revealed.
The project earned 98,000 overall units in its first week, as it went to debut at no. 2 on the Billboard 200. The joint-effort racked up 88,000 streaming equivalent units; which translated to 123.4 million on-demand audio streams. Non-surprisingly, the project was the most-streamed album of the week; as Gaga and Cooper’s project is mostly generating traditional sales.
The effort also marked their second top-five debut this year, as HNDRXX’s Beastmode 2 hit no. 3. Juice peaked at no. 4 in August as well, with the roll-out for Goodbye & Good Riddance.
