This was the bonus track from G Herbo and Southside‘s Still Swervin album, so it sounded a bit different than other trunk rattlers on there. Either way, Lil Herb is getting introspective on “Hood Cycle,” taking things down to the neighborhood in the cold of winter for the clip. Riding with his dawgs and putting that gas in the air, he explains how things are where he grew up. There’s even a cameo by his baby, who he takes to the studio.
