Everything Is Recorded, the new project from XL Recordings founder Richard Russell, has released its debut EP today. The project is titled Close But Not Quite and features the likes of Sampha, Infinite Coles and Obongjayar. One of the highlights is a track called “Early This Morning,” which solely features bars from Giggs.
The song uses the same instrumental as Gil Scott-Heron’s “Me and the Devil” and also samples vocals from it.
