Glassnote Records Is Suing Donald Glover for Unpaid Royalties

As of now, Childish Gambino finds a musical home on RCA Records after announcing the news of a new deal earlier this year. Albums like Camp, Because the Internet and the critically acclaimed and highly revered Awaken, My Love! all came out on Glassnote Records, who is now suing Donald Glover.

According to TMZ, his former label claims that it was not been paid streaming royalties totaling a whopping $700,000.

On top of it, Glassnote has paid Glover about $8 million in royalties thus far and still owes him another $2 million within the next three months.

We’re sure the news is a factor as to why he left the label in the first place.
