Most of everything that we hear from H.E.R. musically is really good. From the album cuts to the b-sides, Gabi Wilson is talented and keeps the bar high on what she releases. One thing we haven’t seen: her covering any songs.
In a visit with DJ Target 1Xtra Session, H.E.R. covered the classic “Jungle” single from Drake‘s If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late album. Backed by a few instruments, she keeps it true to the original, though she does find her groove towards the end when the sample played. She even rapped Drizzy’s verse.
Not only that, but she performed her newest single “Focus” for the live lounge as well.
