Where is this Leo guy? Does he exist? In what seems like a video based on her life, H.E.R. is certainly caught in a “Hard Place” for it.
The I Used to Know Her: Part 2 clip starts out with the two practicing a song in their bedroom, before they go perform at a small open mic venue. At the spot, someone approaches H.E.R. to sign her and that’s where the tension in the relationship starts. H.E.R. goes on to blow up and rocking stadiums while her boyfriend continues playing to crowds of hundreds in small clubs. Obviously, he feels horrible that he is not as successful as she is, which puts the pressure on the relationship.
