Forget heavy bass lines and such, Hudson Mohawke is taking it to church with his latest track, taken from the forthcoming album, Lantern. The song “Ryderz,” premiered on Rinse FM over the weekend, is built around a soul sample, D.J. Rogers’ 1973 track “Watch Out For The Riders,” with the producer doing his thing to it. Just imagine if someone like Cam’ron or Kanye West got ahold of this beat.
