Isaiah Rashad finally dropped his new album The Sun’s Tirade in September, and it’s paid off. The TDE rapper recently stopped by Genius to break down the single “Free Lunch,” where he rapped each line and explained the meaning behind each lyric. It was the bassline that drew him to the track, which he calls some “2010 J. Cole shit.”
He talks about everything from his drug dealer Phil to the Chattanooga chicken and gas station Kanku’s to paying homage to Pimp C and Curren$y.
