RELATED: J. Cole – Middle Child [Music Video]
After a whole social media takeover from the Dreamville side of things, where some of your favorite artists were posting themselves in Atlanta working with J. Cole and company, many have been wondering when the album was coming.
Luckily, Cole World always keeps things real with his fans and he gave an update on YouTube about the status of the compilation. He revealed the news to a fan who asked him during the live-premiere earlier today.
ROTD3 is being finished right now. post production shit. tracking out songs, sequencing, editing, then we gotta mix. we shooting for April
The Revengers sessions are done thank you to every artist and producer that came through. I love y’all, that shit was beautiful. Next step, finish the songs and let the 🌎 feel em.

Just put 124 songs/ideas in a playlist on this flight and that’s not even every song on the hard drive yet #ROTD3 #Dreamville

The team still has to finish producing songs and narrowing records down to have on an album. Considering we saw people like T.I., Wale, Swizz Beatz and Rick Ross at the sessions, it’ll be interesting to hear who makes the cut. Considering they’re shooting for an April release, will they stick to it?
Hopefully there are no setbacks and can deliver on time.
