While the general public is still debating who won, Swizz had a major drop on the show, when he premiered an unreleased J. Cole verse for Bath Salts. Kasseem Daoud Dean, known professionally as Swizz Beatz, is an American record producer, rapper, businessman, and art collector from New York City. Born and raised in the Bronx, Dean embarked on his musical career as a DJ. Earl Simmons, known by his stage name DMX, was an American rapper, songwriter, and actor. He began rapping in the early 1990s and released his debut album It’s Dark and Hell Is Hot in 1998, to both critical acclaim and commercial success, selling 251,000 copies within its first week of release.
