It hasn’t even been a week since J.I.D released his DiCaprio 2 album, so the effort is still making it’s way online and through the streets. In this new conversation with Complex, the Dreamville artist speaks on his creativity and what label the one he’s on is competing with.
The biggest takeaway from the interview is him saying that Dreamville is competing with Top Dawg Entertainment and they need to step it up because TDE is killing shit. It was all said in fun, only because he’s a fan of them too.
He also spoke on his new album, the vibes in the studio and how he feels being signed to the label with all the success coming his way.
Apparently, he still trips out on the attention, so he keeps it humble at all times.
