Jadakiss Gives His Take on the “East Coast vs. West Coast” Beef

J-A-D-A talks rap beef

In 1995, Vibe Magazine was criticized for the infamous East vs. West cover with Frank White and Puff Daddy speaking on their issues with Suge Knight and Death Row Records.

Jadakiss, who was at the forefront of being pursued by both Suge and Puffy at the time, sat down with AllHipHop to open up on how rap beef is misconstrued with street issues.

He went to cite that the media didn’t start the issues at hand in the 90s, but instigated and ran with controversy behind the two record labels, and felt it was sad to see his brethren Christopher Wallace lose his life, as well as Makaveli. Watch more from the interview above, where Kiss talks squashing his rap beefs with Roc-a-Fella Records, 50 Cent and others in the past.
