Jamie Lidell has been releasing solo albums for 16 years now, and on October 14th, he will release his fourth full-length Building a Beginning. Along with the album announcement comes “Walk Right Back,” a funky new single filled with synth, bass and of course, his soulful flavor.
For the new 14-track album, he’s recruited the big guns. There’s everyone from Daru Jones (worked with Jack White) to Pino Palladino (worked with D’Angelo) to Justin Stanley (worked with Prince), with the latter producing the record with Lidell.
Lidell has worked with Tensnake and A-Trak in recent years, but now it’s time to get back to the solo material.
