In honor of Jimi Hendrix’s People, Hell & Angels recently being released, Janelle Monae decided to perform her very own version of the classic “Little Wing” on the Late Night With Jimmy Fallon stage. The track was originally featured on The Jimi Hendrix Experience’s Axis: Bold As Love album back in 1967, and it seemed like the perfect choice for Janelle to provide her powerful vocals towards. Like so many times, the legendary Roots crew were at hand to give the performance that extra edge.
