Fresh from the release of her 80s cover “Simply Irresistible” (seen at E!’s Red Carpet soundtrack for the Academy Awards), R&B / soul musician Janelle Monáe gives us a double dosage of material this week. Although the track has been teased in numerous trailers and online for weeks, we finally get the full version of the electric lady’s newest offering “What Is Love.” This release serves as the official lead single for the upcoming animated kid’s film Rio 2, which hits theaters nationwide on April 11th. While we’re still a few more weeks until its release date, an official soundtrack for the movie will be releasing on March 25th.
