JAY-Z and Rihanna Donate $2 Million to COVID-19 Relief

JAY-Z and Rihanna have together donated $2 million to COVID-19 relief efforts through the Shawn Carter Foundation and Clara Lionel Foundation.

The $1 million from each will support undocumented workers, incarcerated, homeless, elderly populations and children of frontline healthcare workers in NYC and Los Angeles amid the Coronavirus pandemic.

“In times of crisis it is imperative that we come together as one community to ensure that everyone, especially the most vulnerable, has access to critical needs: shelter, health, nutrition and education,” says JAY-Z’s mother Gloria Carter, who is CEO of SCF. “The only way to get through this pandemic is with love and action.”
