JAY Z Signs $200 Million Tour Deal with Live Nation

Just when you thought JAY Z couldn’t make any more money, he keeps cashing them checks. The rap legend and business mogul has just expanded his partnership with Live Nation, inking a new 10-year worldwide tour deal with them serving as producer and promoter.

Mr. Carter and Live Nation will remain equity partners in Roc Nation and the new deal will eclipse a total of $200 million, with a focus on touring for this new deal. It will not include recorded music at this time, but there have been rumblings that Jigga man will be releasing an album (or is at least working on a new one) soon. That’s not even mentioning the fact he will appear at his own Made In America Festival, Meadows Festival and Austin City Limits.

“Live Nation and I entered unchartered territory in 2008. Over nine years, we have traveled the world producing historic music experiences. Michael Rapino is an industry visionary, and this renewed partnership is a testament to our longstanding relationship and the talented individuals at Live Nation. For the next 10 years, we will continue redefining the live event landscape.”

In 2008, the two sides signed a 10 year agreement for $150 million that funded Roc Nation and with that coming to an end, both Hov and Live Nation had to re-up on that deal for the next ten.

He’s not a businessman, he’s a BUSINESS, man. He’s definitely handling his business. Damn.
