JAY Z Thanks His Favorite Rappers in Songwriters Hall of Fame Speech

Salutes to King Hovito!

Thursday evening, JAY Z celebrated his official induction into the Songwriters Hall of Fame, as his closest music friends shared their appreciation for the music mogul. However, S. Dot returned to social media for a rare appearance and didn’t disappoint within the hour-span of nine of tweets.

The series of messages was an open thank you to multiple artists including: Tupac Shakur, The Notorious B.I.G., Nas, Lauryn Hill, Kendrick Lamar, Kanye West, Lil Kim, Eminem, Chance the Rapper, J. Cole and others. During the monumental moment, Jigga promised fans that he wasn’t drunk; but we wouldn’t rule out the iconic artist enjoying some smoke during the celebration.

Former President of the United States, Barack Obama, also welcomed the rapper into the Hall-of-Fame in a video posted by HOV. In the speech, Obama went to say that he was The only President to listen to JAY Z’s music in the Oval Office,” which was the highlight of the video below.

Take a look at Jay’s entire series of thank you tweets.
