To promote her appearance on The Inevitable Defeat of Mister & Pete, Jennifer Hudson visited Chelsea Lately for the first time ever. Upon entering the stage, she gave Chelsea an intro she’ll never forget, because of the zipper in her dress unzipped and exposed her all in front of Chelsea. She quickly came to the rescue and helped zip it back up and made sure it didn’t happen again when she sat back down.
How do you recover from that? Truth is, you can’t, but they did end up speaking on her new role in the film where she plays a heroin addict. She said she drew experiences from ex-heroin addicts, considering she’s never done anything (not even drink, ever in life). Knowing Jennifer’s track record, we’re sure she killed her role.
Before her visit wrapped up, she also touched on what it was like working with Pharrell, and Chelsea once again professed her love for him and his music.
