It was a touching Mother’s Day celebration thanks to VH1, as they put on a special titled Dear Mama, with tributes from Ne-Yo, Jessie J, Diddy, Bobby Brown and more.
Jhené Aiko was also one of the singers to take the stage on this night, bringing along her daughter Namiko Love to perform their TRIP record “Sing To Me.” It isn’t the first time the two are on a song together, but they certainly tugged at the heart with their live performance.
Aiko’s mother was sitting in the audience and couldn’t hold back tears as she watched her daughter and granddaughter perform the track.
Mila J was also in attendance at the same table as her mom.
That wasn’t it, though. Jhené took the time to recite a poem that was dedicated to her mom, telling the world how much of an amazing woman she is.
