The start of Aubrey vs. Joey?
Last month, like many listeners, Joe Budden publicly vented his frustration with Drake’s recent album, VIEWS. The project was arguably the most anticipated release for the calendar year, which caused the New Jersey rapper to question whether or not his fellow hip-hop peer was still inspired.
Well, after a few weeks passed, the OVO general soon responded to this claim on his popular “4PM in Calabasas” track. Beezy even came out and said he loved that he was mentioned by the Toronto rapper on one of his major releases – including a few direct shots at Puff Daddy as well.
While a few weeks has passed, the Jersey resident took to social media yesterday and previewed his new “I Ain’t Drake” diss record, which is a direct response to the previously mentioned lines.
After saying “My words ain’t ghost written, I ain’t Drake. That’s all gimmick, I’m authentic, I Ain’t Drake” – it’s safe to say that Joey is looking to have one final showdown with the biggest artist.
