John Legend Performs at 2017 NBA All-Star Halftime Show

When it was announced that John Legend would perform at the 2017 NBA All-Star game in New Orleans, we sort of raised an eyebrow at it. No shade towards John, but maybe we expected someone more like Big Sean or Chance The Rapper to rock the stage. Maybe cameos from Migos or 2 Chainz. You know, something more upbeat and turnt up to breathe life into the weekend.

JL held his own with hits like “Best You Ever Had” “Love Me Now” and “Used To Love You,” “Greenlight,” “Ready To Go Right Now” and “All Of Me,” weaving in and out of songs that were slow and tempo to the faster paced ones.

He ended his 13-minute set with “Glory” without Common, which won an Oscar a few years ago.

If you weren’t around during today’s Halftime Show and wanted to check out John Legend on the replay, you can watch the G.O.O.D. Music singer up top.
