We all know TLC‘s classic man-bashing “No Scrubs” anthem at this point, even though the single is about to be 20 years old. Being a fan of the legendary R&B group, Jorja Smith has paid homage to them by performing the track live Box Fresh’s ‘FOCUS Artist Of The Month’ award. Compared to the original, she flips it to a more jazzy sound,a s a live band was backing her. Though her rendition sounds like something in a cafe than a worldwide woman anthem, it’s still fresh to hear her inject her own style on it.
