With Loso quietly becoming an entrepreneur and becoming a part-time artist, Josh K of the Brooklyn imprint is back to ready fourth quarter content. Here, the mid-west songwriter, singer drops his “So Tuff” visual with Loso above.
Chicago-area RNB musician Josh K delivers deep lyrics over soulful production, echoing Chris Brown and Bryson Tiller. Joshua J Kirksy in 1990, the Bolingbrook IL artist grew up singing for the girls in high school. Influenced by 90’s music and Chicago RNB from Tank and Genuwine, K began recording as Josh K, a moniker derived from his smooth voice, which resembled Avant from the early 90’s. His early tracks were all posted online, leading up to 2016 EP which featured Major artist like the Legendary Fabolous. Produced by Csick and Cash Money Ap, the set included the singles “Feeling Myself” and “Wanted.” Both tracks would also land on his official debut full-length, (Black Balloon), which peaked at number 198 on the Billboard 200 upon release in Nov 2016. Now with 2020 in full affect K has released his latest single “So Tuff” which is heating up the charts.
