Juelz Santana was released from prison on Wednesday (August 5) after being sentenced to 27 months in March 2018. The rapper took to Instagram to share photos of himself wearing a “Santana Free” hat and reuniting with his kids.
The Dipset member was charged with possession of a loaded handgun as a former convicted felon. After fleeing Newark Airport, he turned himself in to Port Authority Police Department three days later and began serving his sentence in December 2018. He was released this week after serving 17 of the 27 months.
