The rap community lost Juice WRLD over a month ago, on December 8, and today the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office has shared the cause of his death. According to them, Jarad Higgins (his real name), passed away from oxycodone and codeine toxicity. His death has also been ruled an accidental overdose.
At the time of his death, the 21-year old was traveling from Los Angeles back to Chicago and went into cardiac arrest and had a seizure at the airport where he was transported to the hospital and pronounced dead hours later.
It was reported he swallowed a handful of Percocets in order to dodge the feds when he landed.
Not only that, but police found three registered handguns and 70 pounds of weed in vacuum-sealed bags inside suitcases they were carrying.
