Last night, Just Blaze had some free time to himself to go through his stash of old hard drives from the legendary baseline studios. The New Jersey producer soon found some Jay-Z and Pharrell demos for The Black Album that didn’t the final cut from 2003 and a slew of other gems.
He went to reveal that Freeway’s “Flipside” was originally a verse planned for a Beyoncé record, as well as sharing a rare story on how Eminem’s “Cold Wind Blows” and T.I.’s “Live Your Life” were the same song before swiftly removed both posts from social media.
However, before his night of randomness concluded, Just found the Black Album version of Jay-Z’s street-cut “Early This Morning,” which never formally released. Take a look at the video below.
