Juvenile on 2pac’s Influence in the South During East Coast Beef with Other Rappers

Last week, Birdman and Juvenile released their Just Another Gangsta album. During their promo run, Juve spoke about the creation process of the project, including squashing their beef years ago.

On his farewell tour, the legendary New Orleans rapper now considers rap a hobby, since he’s privately managed his financial security. He also touched on why he didn’t sign to No Limit, citing the talent roster downtown was too heavy and felt he’d be lost in the shuffle.

Upon taking his talents uptown in the mid-90s, he touched on 2pac’s impact in the south and other regions – which led to them siding with him against other big artists like JAY-Z. This all ended after the passing of both Makaveli and Biggie Smalls, which led to Jigga man reaching out and recording a remix to “Ha.” Take a look at Juve explaining the story below.
