Excuse us for being a little late but if you haven’t heard Oakland newcomer Kamaiyah’s debut mixtape A Good Night in the Ghetto, you should stop sleeping.

Hailing from the Bay, the mixtape is a great mixture of G-Funk and west coast bounce that we only hear ever so often. She enlisted an elite team of producers to create the sound, which includes P-Lo, Trackademicks, 1 O.A.K., and a few others that keep the mixtape consistent vibe wise.

Laced with 16 tracks, the tape is a fun party from beginning to end that will keep a party jumping all night, if need be. She’s light on features except for a few friends and co-signer YG who appears on one of the tracks.

“I wanted to make a soundtrack for the average 18-25 year old thriving, living and having a good time. A Good Night in the Ghetto is a fun time with no drama and no one being hurt. That’s what I want to promote.”

If you aren’t already jamming to A Good Night in the Ghetto, do so below.
