Kamaiyah is finally back with new music for the first time since last year’s A Good Night in the Ghetto. The XXL Freshman returns this week with her feel-good new song “Build You Up,” along with a Damiën Sandoval-directed video that pays homage to ’90s rap visuals. The Oakland rapper is out in the subway and streets, wearing bright colors with her crew and dancing the night away.
