Kanye West Freestyles for ‘Yandhi’ Album, Responds to JAY-Z & Roc-a-Fella Lawsuit

#Yandhi

Earlier this weekend, a report surfaced that Kanye West had filed two lawsuits against JAY-Z’s Roc-a-Fella and EMI Publishing. It was revealed that Yeezy was looking to get royalties and masters for his first three albums (The College Dropout, Late Registration and Graduation).

While social media has been in a frenzy regarding the alleged war against his former best friend, G.O.O.D Music responded to claims on the alleged news. In a statement to XXL Magazine, Kanye is denying reports of a third and singular lawsuit with Def Jam Records. He also went to address rumors of him holding the Yandhi album hostage until the lawsuit is settled being false as well.

Reps for Kanye said, “The Blast article has the unredacted complaint but it’s not a new lawsuit. It’s the unredacted version of the previous filing. Also there’s another inaccurate portion about him holding up the ninth album. That’s not in the complaint and untrue.”
