Kanye West and his Sunday Service Choir‘s debut album Jesus Is Born has debuted at number 73 on the Billboard 200 chart.
The project moved a total of 9,500 units with little promotion outside of a tweet from Kanye himself. Over the 19 tracks, there are gospel covers of Kanye’s “Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1,” Jeremih’s “Paradise,” Soul II Soul’s “Back to Life,” SWV’s “Rain” and more.
Jesus Is Born follows Kanye’s solo album JESUS IS KING last October.
