Kanye West Reacts To Wiz Khalifa’s Max B “Waves” Statements

The two hip-hop greats entertain fans ahead of new albums

Last night, Kanye West announced he would be changing his album from SWISH to Waves. While he offered no explanation to the change, fans ran with the idea – feeling the new title was better than its original name. Unfortunately, this prompted Wiz Khalifa to question whether or not Yeezy was stealing the trademark from his biggest musical influence and our comrade, Max Biggaveli.

He soon went to question the background for the G.O.O.D Music musician’s idea for the new project – subliminally calling him out on plagiarism. It’s been well-documented that the professional Pittsburgh smoker has referenced Max B as his biggest music influence for his career.

Well, word finally got back to the Chicago rapper moments ago and he went to go on twitter-finger tirade, calling out Mr. Khalifa on various subjects from organic creativity; and surprisingly mentioning Kim Kardashian as a subliminal from his Khalifa Kush brand. While the elephant in the room wasn’t addressed, take a look at their brief back-and-forth.

Could you guys get people to sign the Max B petition and have it presented to Obama? This seems to be the bigger issue at hand! Khalifa out February 5th. Waves out February 11th.
