Bronx rapper Kemba is fresh off signing a deal with Republic Records earlier this week. To go with the news, he’s sharing a brand new single called “Exhale.” The track is a collaboration with Smino (who just released his NOIR album last week), with production from Frank Drake and Brasstracks.
“‘Exhale’ is the feeling of being pulled in every direction by the people in your life,” Kemba told The FADER. “You have your family telling you to be more like them, your girl saying be like what she wants, and the pressure you’re putting on yourself to follow your dreams. Sometimes you just have to take a step back and breathe.”
