If you watched any of the NBA Playoffs this year, you would know that Kendrick Lamar was damn near the soundtrack to every commercial break, intro and NBA Countdown transition.
In case you didn’t catch it on Monday night, a slightly altered version of “DNA” was played right after the Golden State Warriors won the NBA Championship. The new edit came on as ABC made a short highlight reel of Kevin Durant, Steph Curry, Draymond Green and Andre Iguodala celebrating as the buzzer sounded in the final seconds of the game.
Did Kung Fu Kenny record a full version with a different verse? Maybe we’ll never know.
