This past weekend, New York City hosted the Global Citizen Festival at Central Park and headlining the event was Kendrick Lamar. Among the other artists that performed included Usher, Rihanna, Selena Gomez, Major Lazer, Ellie Goulding and Metallica. The organization was started to bring awareness to global poverty and aims to end it within the next 14 years.
