The Bread Winner is closer to getting home!
After his controversial concert incident back in 2015 and following an outstanding weapons-related warrant, Kevin Gates is just days away from tasting fresh air. The Louisiana rapper was originally sentenced to 30 months behind bars, but is getting out after just serving nine. According to the Illinois Department of Correction, Gates will be released next Wednesday, January 10th.
However, he’ll be subject to parole after his release, including mandatory supervision. It’s unclear how long he’ll have to wait before he can touch the streets for performance; but we’re assuming he’ll have less supervision come summer. Let us know below if you’re interested in new materiel.
