Earlier this week, Kid Cudi revealed that his new album Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin’ would be released today. However, he took to Twitter last night to announce that the LP had been delayed due to problems with sample clearances. Besides the bad news, he did say that his new track “Surfin’,” a collaboration with Pharrell, would be released to make up for it. As promised, he’s released the upbeat song on iTunes.
“Surfin'” is one of two collaborations with Pharrell on Cudi’s upcoming album, which he premiered during his Trillectro set this summer.
