Last week, before the holidays approached, King Louie was shot 7 times in attempted murder in Chicago. The rapper would survive the attack of 20-gunshots, including one critical one to the head that he walked away from. Last night, he spoke out for the first time regarding the incident with CNN to discuss how he’s working on a project currently to ask people around his community to put the guns down. While he didn’t specify the real issues within in the city, he cited prayer from his family, friends and fans as the real reason for him surviving. He hopes to instill that same positivity through the new project in attempted to save Chicago. Watch more from the interview above.
