Kirk Knight dropped his debut album Late Knight Special back in 2015, but he’s doing things a little different with his next project. His latest release, Black Noise, is an 11-track instrumental album, inspired by some of his Stones Throw favorites.
“I wanted to drop an instrumental album that created a soundscape of my production,” Kirk Knight says. “I grew up listening to J Dilla, Madlib and Flying Lotus, and I’ve always wanted to contribute to the culture of instrumental albums.”
