LeBron James Explains His Musical Influences During Childhood

HBO premiered the new episode of The Shop this weekend, but if you haven’t caught up with it yet, here are some clips that might help you tune in this Christmas.

In one of the videos, LeBron James talks about being influenced by Nas, 2pac, JAY Z and DMX as a kid growing up in the inner city and feeling like nobody cares. In another one, Nas explains how people try to take from rap and black culture, even though they’re the one with the sauce.

In the last, Mary J. Blige talks about how she used her music to help herself become more empowered and in-turn, helped others do it as well because they related.
