Leon Bridges has come a long way in a short space of time with the release of his debut album Coming Home and touring those songs around the globe and back. Danny Clinch, who has photographed the likes of Tupac Shakur, Bruce Springsteen and Johnny Cash, teams up with the singer to direct an intimate documentary called This Is Home.
The 20-minute piece follows Leon and his band members on the tour bus, hanging out in bars and performing. Each of them describe the changes they’ve seen from open mic gigs to the world stage, whether it’s banter or being able to fully express themselves. Leon talks about his quick rise as a musician and his love for small venues, while also introducing his mother.
