Lil Durk ‘7220’ first week album sales revealed, as the O.T.F. rapper celebrates his second no. 1 album on the charts this week. Although he scored no. 1 with Lil Baby last year for their collaborative The Voice of the Heroes album, this marks his first ever solo chart-topping effort.
7220 launched with 120,500 equivalent album units sold in its opening week, according to Luminate (MRC Data). In comparison to The Voice that sold 86,000 its first week, Durkiooo has essentially taken over the game to start spring.
This new release also is the third-largest week for an album in the 2022 tracking year of any genre, so we expect it to eventually go platinum in the coming weeks. Considering his spring-summer tour starts in a few weeks, look for Durk to start showing off plaques in the not too distant future.
