Today, Lil Mama is back with her latest single, which is a mash up of everything you’ve seen trending throughout social media, but with her own flavor and rap skills added to make for an exciting comeback record.
In the Walu-directed clip for the song that samples Slick Rick’s “Mona Lisa,” Lil Mama retains her voice of the young people title, spreading a message about safe sex, as well as showing off her many skills, hitting the streets of New York surrounded by kids and grown-ups embracing her new song. Throughout the clip, you’ll see Lil Mama showcasing her dance moves, taking inspiration from the likes of Mary J. Blige, Madonna, Beyonce, and TLC, while going through a number of outfit changes.
