It’s official: Lil Nas X‘s “Old Town Road” is the longest running number one song of all time.
With 17 weeks at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart, the single moves ahead of Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee and Justin Bieber’s “Despacito,” as well as Mariah Carey and Boyz II Men’s “One Sweet Day,” which both spent 16 weeks at number one.
The song was boosted by yet another remix featuring RM of K-pop group BTS last Wednesday.
