Reports coming out of the Lil Peep camp confirm that the rising singer and rapper had died. He was 21 years old. According to people close to the situation, the Long Island, New York native (real name Gustav Åhr) passed away from an apparent drug overdose.

UPDATE: According to The Pima County Office of the Medical Examiner, Peep’s death has been ruled a drug overdose. A definitive cause of death will not be determined for another six to eight weeks as toxicology results are tested.
